What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of WILD Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.

God

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfection, and worth of precisely the same homage, confidence and obedience.  He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday,
today, and tomorrow.
(Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10- 11; Matt 28:19; I2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7)

The scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. The Bible constitutes the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.
 (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

the deity of christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace.
(Isaiah 7:14; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:11; 2:22; 1 Peter 1:3,18-19; 3:22)

The holy spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believers and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment.
(1 Cor. 3:16; John 14:16-17,26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8)

The Fall

We believe man was originally created in the image and likeness of God; man fell through disobedience, incurring both physical and spiritual death to the entire human race. All men are born with a sinful nature and separated from God and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Gen. 1:26; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

Salvation

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior.   We believe salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men and those who repent and believe in Him are born again by the Holy Spirit and thus receive the gift of eternal life and have become children of God. Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God (Eph. 2:8).  Our redemption has been accomplished solely by the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ. Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that works repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced produces eternal life.
This is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
(John 3:3-5; Acts 4:12, Romans 5:15; 2 Cor. 7:10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16; Titus 3:5-7; 1 John 5:12)

The Church

We believe that the true church is a living organism; a living body of Christ, a habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointment for the fulfillment of the great commission. The True Church is composed of all those who are born-again and united to Christ by the Holy Spirit and that by the same Spirit we are all baptized into one body, thus being members one of another. We are responsible to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, rising above all sectarian prejudices and denominational differences, and loving one another with a pure heart. (Matt. 16:16-18; Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:12-17; Ephesians 1:2223 & 4:3-10; Colossians 3:14-15; 1 Peter 1:22)
We believe the local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the Gospel and observance of the ordinance of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
 (Acts 2:42 & 47; Hebrews 10:25)

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

We believe that the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal and visible. This is the believer’s blessed hope and is vital truth, which is an incentive to
holy living and faithful service.
(Acts 2:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 & 5:2; Matt 24:32-42;
Revelation 16:15; 1 Corinthians 15:5058)

ResurRection

We believe there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. For the former - a resurrection into everlasting life; for the latter - a resurrection into everlasting damnation. The saved shall reign with Christ forever in His glory. The unsaved shall be cast into the lake of fire not to be annihilated but punished forever and forever separated from the presence of the Lord.
(Luke 16:19-26 & 23:43; 2 Corinthians 5:8; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15)
